This is my favourite method of traffic generation. The main reason for this is that it is free. Whatever profit that I make is entirely mine to keep. Also the leads seem to convert up to 10 times better than leads from other sources. I write articles and submit them to all the major article directories. I include a link to my site in my resource box. This method is probably the most reliable method that I use.
2) Forum marketing
You basically can be driving targeted traffic to your website within minutes. Find high traffic forums related to your niche market and post frequently to them. Answer people's queries for help with useful information and include a link to your website in your signature. You also build your credibility and reputation as an expert. This is important in terms of gaining the trust of your visitors.
3) PPC advertising
This is a really very good way that you can advertise your website. If you use Adwords you basically can be up and running in a few minutes. The traffic that you get will be very targeted as they are related to the keywords that you are searching. Just make sure that your landing pages are very targeted to the adverts that you are searching for.
